Catholic Cemeteries of Columbus

A Sacred Trust Since 1850

The beauty of faith. The comfort of compassion. The power of hope. As an Office of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Columbus, Catholic Cemeteries of Columbus has served families in the central Ohio area for over 170 years by providing perpetual care at each of its four diocesan cemeteries.

With its unique history and serene landscapes, each consecrated cemetery offers a tranquil setting where generations of believers within the Diocese of Columbus have found their final resting place. As sacred grounds, they serve not only as spaces of interment but also as places of prayer, reflection, and spiritual connection for families and visitors alike.

It is our Sacred Trust to honor the dead with reverence, to perform the corporal work of mercy to bury and pray for the deceased each day, and to provide the compassion and hope that arises from the promise of Christ's resurrection to all we encounter.

    Join us as we pray the Stations of the Cross in preparation for Holy Week. The Stations will be prayed in the beautiful Mother of Sorrows chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery. Seating is available, and prayer booklets will be provided.

    Walking Stations of the Cross - Resurrection

    Join us at Resurrection Cemetery as we honor Good Friday with a prayerful walk through our beautiful outdoor Stations of the Cross. Stations will begin outside of the front doors of our chapel. Please note that this is a walking Stations of the Cross - seating will not be available around the stations.
